The Black Edit!
September 6, 2017
Hi guys! How are you? So a while ago on my IG I shared images from my shoot where I only shot outfits in the color BLACK! Now if you know me, you know I am in black 300 days of the year. I love it. Moreover, it is the most concealing color and with the extra pounds I have put on - it sure helps :(
But what I don't approve of as a plus size blogger with the color black is that everything DOES NOT have to look the same! One black dress can look TOTALLY different from the other, if you style it right ;)
So through these images, all I wanted to show is how the color black can be incorporated in different looks! Hope you enjoy x
The Classic Black Gown
My first look was a sleek plain black gown from Asos.com. What was stunning about it was the wide slit right from the center of the gown, allowing some leg to peak through and add a tad bit of sexiness in the look. The net on the neck and shoulder with the front knot added the extra detail. I paired this look with evening earrings and a clutch making it perfect for an anniversary dinner or party!

The Cool But Casual Look
Next I shared a black playsuit! To be honest, I love the whole concepts of playsuits. They are comfortable jumpsuits in my opinion. Got this plain one shoulder playsuit from ASOS and paired with these ombre earrings from @KunaForYou (Dubai based IG store with some cool pieces of jewelry and accessories. With the whole look I wore glittery summer espadrilles that I bought from ASOS as well. Only the playsuit is available for now and that too on sale - Click here to buy

The LBD must have
We all need a little black dress in our closet and I chose this wrap around style one from Torrid.com. I think the dress fits very well on me and the wrap around style gives room for some neck and leg to show. Paired it with my hot pink Bvlgari Serpenti to make sure the whole look does not look boring and flat. Oh and long tassel earrings because everyones loving tassels ATM!

The Lets Be A Little Extra Look
To be very honest, I bought this dress YEARS ago and I never really liked this high low style, like EVER! But when I was putting together looks for this dress I tried it and kind of liked it. Now firstly, the dress is strapless. The net that you see on top on my shoulders is a jacket I have that I paired with the dress so it looks like it is all together. I feel like a staple like such sleeves is a must have in your closet. You have no idea how many dresses I am able to wear because of these! So this dress is from Forever21 Plus and if I remember correctly it was not more than AED 200 - AED 250 MAX! Since the dress had so much going on with the motif in the middle, the lace, the extra fabric, I decided to keep it simple and just wear plain nude heels!

The I Care But I Don't Want To Look Like I Do Look
If you ask me I would like to dress like this everyday! This is who I am. A dress that shows no rolls and shoes that won't tire me at all! I would wear this for a casual outing with friends or when I want to go to the mall. Its comfy and you can be up and about in it! Dress is from Asos, Shoes are Gucci and bag is Valentino. I paired the red in the shoe with the red bag to keep it coordinated and add some color in the look x
